過往為阻止共軍登島，曾經有十萬顆地雷遍佈在金門各處。隨著金門褪去戰地色彩，隱沒在雜草與沙土下的地雷，成為威脅民眾生命安全的存在。感謝多年來冒著生命危險，移除地雷的工兵們，讓金門人能夠無慮地親近這遍土地。

在過去，金門的人們常利用鱟的殼做成色彩豐富的面具。
People used to make colorful masks from the shells of horseshoe crabs in Kinmen.

金門記憶 ： 我喜歡無敵鐵金剛的原因，是因為小時候金門只有華視一家電視頻道可以看。
The reason I like Mazinger Z is because Kinmen used to have only one TV channel 'CTS' when I was young.

金門回憶 ： 叔叔在我小的時候帶我到金城看電影，路上到處都是滿滿的阿兵哥。
